Description
  • Analyze, monitor, and troubleshoot in-vehicle communication networks (CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, MOST, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet).
  • Perform bus trace analysis using tools such as Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, Wireshark, or similar diagnostic platforms.
  • Investigate communication issues including message timing, signal inconsistencies, network load, latency, and error frames.
  • Support integration and validation of ECUs within complex E/E architectures.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of bus-related faults during vehicle testing, HiL/SiL testing, and bench validation.
  • Ensure compliance with automotive communication standards and OEM specifications.
  • Collaborate with function owners, system engineers, software developers, and test engineers to resolve cross-functional issues.
  • Optimize network performance, bus load, and communication robustness.
  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and customer presentations.
  • Participate in vehicle integration campaigns and on-site testing activities when required.

Job requirements

  • Experience in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field.
  • Experience with KPMweb, ITARA & Raincoat
  • Experience in dealing with EXAM test automation system
  • Experience in dealing with EXAM libraries CORE & STANDARD
  • Knowledge of system42 or version42
  • Experience in dealing with the test guide DOORS
  • Experience in dealing with test automation TAV3
  • Experience in the analysis of traces with Vector CANoe
  • In-depth knowledge of programming with C-Sharp
  • Knowledge of handling and compliance with ISTQB standards (at Certified Tester level) Verbundrelease -Management
  • Strong understanding of automotive system architectures and ECU interactions.
  • Structured problem-solving and analytical approach.
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
